You don't have to live in New York to LOVE this magazine. But I must say if you do, subscribing to NY mag helps you to maximize the most of what's so great about New York City. I use each issue as a guide for what I'm going to do that weekend. I've gone to some of the most amazine art galleries, events and shows that I would have not known about had New York magazine made the information so readily available. This magazine forecasts cultural trends in such a unique way with truly great writing, and always weighs in on the current state of politics in a different way than traditional media. Everytime I get a new issue, I'm always amazed at how New York magazine always comes up with the best topics for articles and stories. I especially enjoy how the magazine comes so often and that its regularity doesn't sacrifice any of the journalistic quality! With NY magazine I don't have to wait weeks on end for new reading material. Bravo to a quality magazine that has just celebrated its 40th anniversary!! Keep the issues coming!!

I am a native New Yorker, having lived here for all 52 years of my life, and truly value and appreciate what this magazine has to say about my beloved city. It keeps you up-to-date on local events, great food, and recent hot spots, mixed in with intelligent and well-written articles on topics such as politics, finance, and film. If you don't live in NY and are intrigued by its culture, New York magazine will almost act as a portal to the city that never sleeps.
